2024 Kickball Registration

Our 4th Annual Adults Only Kickball Registration is OPEN!

This year we are limiting the number of teams to 8, so don't delay!

$200 Entry Fee per team and team captains are responsible for sharing rules with their teams
Tournament will be capped at 8 teams. Double elimination bracket format.
No metal cleats or glass beverage bottle(s) will be allowed on the property.(CLEAN UP YOUR MESS)
Coin flip for Home/Visitor.
Maximum 12 players/minimum 8 per team. All players may play per game. Teams must be made up of at least 50% females/ 50%males. Maximum 10 players in the field on defense. The same players do not have to be in the field or in the same position each inning. However, teams must maintain a 50/50 female/male ratio.
Players not in the field on defense or kicking/on base must remain off the field and in the dugout. A first and third base coach will be allowed for the kicking team. Coaches must be team members. No other non-team members will be allowed on the field or in the dugouts during the games.
Kicking order must be guy-girl-guy-girl-etc. All 12 players may kick, but no lineup order jumping will be allowed.
Games will be timed 45 minutes. The home team will kick last. If time expires, the home team will be allowed to finish the inning (if needed). If upon completion of regulation the score is tied, extra inning(s) will be played until there is a winner. Each extra inning will consist of a runner placed on second base with 1 out. The runner placed on second, will be the last person who was “out” on that team from the prior inning. Both teams will be allowed to kick in each extra inning.
Team chooses pitcher, no rotation necessary & traditional baseball/softball fair/foul ball rules apply.
Any pitch that bounces over a foot will be a ball unless kicked by the kicker
No curveballs or fast pitches. One warning will be issued by the umpire & then a replacement pitcher will need to be selected.
If ball is damaged during play, play will finish, then the ball will be replaced
3 balls is a walk, 2 strikes is an out. Foul balls will keep kicker alive
A ball thrown at a runner must hit below the shoulders. A head shot will result in a dead ball and a free base
Any ball thrown into a dugout or out of the field of play will result in a dead ball. Any base runner will be allowed to advance one base from their last touched base during the dead ball.
Any ball that is kicked, bounces or is thrown over the outfield fence in the field of play (between the foul poles) will result in a home run.
No leading off by any base runner. The ball must be kicked before advancing off of the base.
No bunting – A bunt line will be chalked and the ball must advance past the bunt line. 1 warning will be given to the kicker and counted as a strike. After 1 warning, kicker may be called out after another bunt. Ball/play is dead if umpire calls a bunt.
3 fielders must be in the grass(outfield) until ball is kicked
When pitcher has the ball in the pitcher’s circle, play is considered dead. Runners who are more than halfway to the next base prior to the pitcher entering the circle will be able to advance
There will be 3 umpires per game. Two in the field (behind first and third base) and one at the plate. The 3 umpires will consist of one Little League Committee member and one player (each) from 2 teams not actively playing.
All calls made by umpires are final. No players/fans are allowed to argue with the umps. If problems persist, the player/fan may be ejected. Rules may be subject to change at the discretion of the umpires during the tournament (PLEASE DO NOT ARGUE WITH THE UMPIRES, THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN)

Continuing a Tradition

For many of those in Oxford, Kickball and the Fourth of July go together. Unfortunately 2020 was a difficult year for organized athletics. In 2021, we decided to bring that tradition back to our hometown and fire up a One Day - Adults Only - Kickball Tournament!

We had an absolute blast, and we cannot wait for an even better event next year. Just remember to stretch it out beforehand!
